Tuy được xem là tính năng phụ, nhưng “CAD Viewer” vẫn có thể vượt mặt tính năng chính bằng độ hấp dẫn và tiện dụng của nó. “CAD Viewer” giúp bạn xem được mọi định dạng AutoCAD ở mức độ chi tiết hệt như đọc trên bản AutoCAD đã tạo ra nó và xem tốt ngay cả trên những file DWG được thiết kế theo kiểu 3D.
Bạn nhấn vào nút “CAD Viewer” để hiện ra giao diện riêng dùng để xem file -> sau đó nhấn vào nút “Open” để tìm đến các file DWG cần xem. Trong “CAD Viewer” có đầy đủ mọi công cụ để xem file, với đầy đủ mọi tính năng như: phóng to, thu nhỏ, xoay trái-phải-trên-dưới, chỉnh màu nền, chỉnh màu bản vẽ, in ấn, cùng với nhiều tùy biến xem các file DWG được thiết kế theo kiểu 3D…
Độc đáo nhất là “CAD Viewer” đã tích hợp luôn tính năng chuyển đổi qua lại giữa mọi đời file AutoCAD trong tính năng “Save”. Bạn chỉ cần chọn “File -> Save As” hoặc nhấn vào nút “Save” là có thể chuyển file DWG đang xem thành một kiểu file DWG tương thích với một đời AutoCAD nào đó, ngay trong giao diện lưu file. Khi đã làm quen với giao diện “CAD Viewer”, có lẽ bạn sẽ không cần đến giao diện chuyển đổi chính của Amethyst DWG-2-DWG
